YAY!! I'm the winner

My computer has been at the hospital since Tuesday...I really.really miss it! I can't surf my beloved internet...or get to any of my pics...so no scrappy pics today...but I do have some news to share...

I won the OLW challenge this week!!! check it out here!!! I love this challenge site and try to do it every time...it doesn't always happen, but the site and the OLW team is so inspiring!

Hoping to get my computer back some time early next week...fingers crossed!

gratitude

This week's OLW challenge really got me thinking...about everything in my life I have to be grateful for...even when I feel like everything is falling apart...so I wanted to take on the challenge of documenting my gratitude daily...every day for the entire month of November...that seems reasonable...it's thanksgiving after all...

so I made this little 6x6 album to record my daily gratitude...it's a work in progress...but I have the cover and the first page done...I'll share the rest at the end of the month...

the cover...made with stiff felt...I stitched it by hand...the pp is sass and scenic route...

good morning saturday!

I love Saturdays...a full day devoted to getting caught up in my world...but not today!
Today I will be inside being trained on how to teach physics labs to high school students...I am sure it will be beneficial...but I'm just not feeling it today...I would much rather play and...well...get caught up!

yes...I am still sick...but beginning to feel better...maybe my trip to kohls and some new earrings and belts are to blame for my elation...I say whatever it takes!

I have been sick for the past 3 days...I am so tired...and yet I can't sleep...oh, the irony!
