happy rainy saturday

It has been a card making week for me! I submitted a card for the Inspired Blueprints DT call. I make birthday cards for all of the students in my class, so it seemed like something I could do even during the school year! I used some October Afternoon Road Trip scraps and came up with this:

inspired blueprints,october afternoon

And a funny story about the mother's day cards I made this week. I had a piece of paper sitting out from the March Studio Calico kit. I never thought I would use it, but sometimes if I put something out and look at long enough I will get some inspiration. Well, mags in her infinite wisdom walked by this particular piece of paper and said..."that looks just like nana and that one looks like grandma". And she was right (but that goes without saying)! So I cut them out card size added some ribbon and some roses I made with my new Tim Holts grungy flowers die cut. They may just be my most favorite cards ever!

For nana...

For grandma...

Making these cards has given me the itch to maybe that will happen this weekend!

I applied to the Inspired Blueprints team too - for the 12x12 layout role. How awesome would it be to be on a DT together again?
Love your card!
