and I haven't been able to take any pics of projects...but today the sun came out I managed to catch up on some projects that I have been working on for the NSD challenges at Studio Calico...
I made this one using my most recent kit...mags and poopa on his 86th birthday...
and this one of my best buds using the awesome new Amy Tangerine line...this stuff is just too much fun!
and I also made a birthday card and a graduation card for one of my students...
just need to put the title on one more and I will be on my way to finishing up the challenges...thanks for stopping by!

Love your card and you PL pages! Thanks for the great giveaway!
send me your email Amy and I will stick the cards in the mail for you.
I made a layout today for one of the blow out your stash challenges at Studio Calico...the challenge was to make a grid, but then go outside the lines...
that's mags and her nana...we got to spend 4 days with her this past week!
I also made a mini album for my ed assistant's grand daughter who will be welcoming a baby sister into the family in the next few days...
This is the first time I have managed to use my bind-it-all even though I have had it in my closet for ages! I'm pretty happy with how it turned out...with a little more practice, I'm sure it will get better.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week!

hello Friday!
I am so glad that Friday is here...it's been a long week! I have a couple of layouts to share before the weekend starts...
first up is a layout using Kelly Purkey's sketchbook 4 challenge #4...love me some circles!
every year, I take a pic of mags on her birthday in a dress that belonged to my grandmother...this is the 10th year...I have them in small square frames on my shelf, and I love seeing how she has changed every year!
I made the confetti pockets by die cutting circles from page protectors and then hand stitching them onto my layout...I love the way it looks and it is a really easy way to add some movement.
and a layout for last week's Studio Calico weekly challenge...keep it simple...no embellishments at all! yikes! but with some gesso, masks and stamps, sewing and washi, I think I might have just pulled it off
thanks for stopping by...have a great weekend!

a layout and a card
I love having a day off...that means that there is so much more time for crafty projects...I am currently picking little bits of paper off of my cameo cutting mat...I cut a bunch of cards for project life, but I hate cleaning off the mat...any suggestions?
I made a LO for the Studio Calico Sunday sketch using my March kit...loving the blues and greens in this kit!
Does your family do this? The kids cannot wait to get done with the pics I want so that they can make all kinds of funny faces...I cannot wait to bring all of these out when the get older:)
and a card using sketch #1 from KP's sketchbook 4 class.
hope you all have a happy and blessed Easter.

how about some layouts!
I have 2 to share...one for the studio calico sketch from last week and one for Kelly Purkey's sketchbook 4 class...
yum...using some papers from my may 2010 studio calico kit...:)
love this...mags and claire on a shopping spree at the outlet mall.
and a close up of a Autumn Leaves stamp that I had to have back in the day...I stamped it and then stitched over it...I think it looks pretty cute!
I have tomorrow off work...hope you do too!
