back to scrapping

and a couple of LOs to share!
the first is a pic of my family from father's day...love them all to pieces!  I used one of the 2 exclusive SC papers from the kit...I have been hoarding it because I missed out on it, but I only have a tiny bit of the kit left, so it must be used up!

the next one is of mags having lunch today at our favorite lunching place...it was for the member lift at SC and I used my So Cal kit and some odds and ends embellies from previous kits.

mags is at a birthday party/sleep over...so I may have some time to get in some more scrapping if the wine doesn't get in the way :)

Lake Sam Rayburn part 2

This is the second little mini I made as a gift for mags' cousin who went to the lake with us...again using the hipstamatic pics from my phone...I just looked at the pics taken with my big camera and I should have included some of those, but that will have to be another project for another day!

Lake Sam Rayburn

Mags and I took a little road trip to Lake Sam Rayburn for a few days...mags had her first boat ride and her first tubing adventure...the weather cooperated so that in between rain storms we could get out on the lake and even watch the sunset!
So you know that I had to do something with all of the Hipstamatic pics I took on my phone while we were gone...I made 2 minis...one for mags and one for her cousin who celebrated her 12th birthday during our visit.  I had already made the foundations for mags' mini so I just had to add the pics and journaling...and while I was at it, just cutting a few more pages, adding some paint and some stitching didn't seem like that much extra work...I already had the pics which is usually my rate limiting step...so here we go...
road trip mini...I used my Studio Calico 35 mm kit mostly...love the HS file for the mini foundation!

Happy July!!!

I have been busy shipping all of my ebay items the last few weeks...I am waiting on 2 people to pay and then I can ship their stuff and I think I will call it good for the summer.
I used up one of my Studio Calico kits today...the January kit and I only had 2 little bits of paper left...so I made a LO and 2 cards by adding some goodies from some other kits...

a LO of mags and her grandma on mother's day

and here are the 2 cards...when trying to use up bits of paper my advice is to make confetti!!

June Project 30 #20, 21 and 22

We had a busy weekend with family in town and I didn't get around to posting the last of my June projects.  I didn't make it to 30, but 22 is still pretty good...and I have removed a substantial amount of scrappy stuff from from home this month.

I'll start with Project Life...I managed to get week 21 and 22 completed and already have the pics for 23 and 24 ready to go so I may get caught up before summer is over!

Week 21

and Week 22

I really do love having a recap of the weeks and also it has helped be use up product from my SC kits...that's a win.win in my book.

and a LO for a SC birthday challenge using my June So Cal kit and paying homage to Sasha Farina.

and a little up close detail of the stitching...

So that's it for me and my June...summer seems to by too quickly!
Thanks for stopping by.
