I'm playing along with Simon Says Stamp Monday Blog challenge and the January Bossy Scrapper challenge
and nothing like waiting until the very last minute. But I managed to bust out 3 Valentine's Day cards this morning using the following criteria for the Bossy Scrapper challenge:
3 photos...I substituted 3 hearts because they are cards
sequins
rubons
word stickers
gold foil or glitter
an arrow
ink
square alphabet
and the Simon Says Stamp Monday Blog Challenge was to use red and this is what I made:

That was fun and definitely put my in a Valentine's crafty kind of mood, so there will probably be more to come.

Simon Says Stamp Monday Blog Challenge
My daughter turned 14 this weekend and we celebrated with a party. Of course, when you have a party you have make thank you cards and so that is what I did today. The challenge this week was best friends and this is what I made...
I actually made 9 of them. All with the bff emoji stamp from Studio Calico and the sentiment embossed with gold glitter zing.
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge
I'm playing along this week with the create with critters challenge at Simon Says Stamp. And I love these Mama Elephant critters a whole, whole bunch! and even better, they ride a bike! I made an all the way through shaker card and filled it with colorful sequins. I hope the birthday girl likes it.
Thanks for stopping by!

And another card using the Studio Calico Sunday sketch
I have a bunch of birthdays coming up so I used made a couple of cards using one of my most favorite Studio Calico stamp sets.
I used 3 color theory inks for the presents and balloon and popped some of them up for a little dimension.

Studio Calico Sunday Sketch 1.10
I finally got around to making a card for the Sunday Sketch challenge at Studio Calico. I loved how the original card had everything along the bottom of the card!
Here is the sketch:

And here is my take using two different stamp sets from Studio Calico and coloring the images with Copic Markers. I love that little girl from an Ashley G stamp that I bought a long time ago and found today when I was cleaning out my stamp drawer. A nice and flat card perfect for mailing...and I made 2 of them and used up a piece of colored card stock. My forever destashing project is getting rid of/using up colored card stock...I prefer white card stock for every thing!

Studio Calico Sunday Sketch 1.3
I'm playing along with the ever creative folks over at Studio Calico this week. The sketch is based on a card by Lisa Spangler and I love everything she does.
Here is the card sketch for the week.
Here is the card sketch for the week.
And here is my take on the sketch using some paper from the Lisse Street card kit, the Twenty Sixteen stamp set by Jasmine Jones and the Merry and Bright stamp set by In A Creative Bubble. I have used both of these stamp sets a ton so they were definitely worth what I paid for them.
And a little close up.
I passed out the New Year's cards last week and I was short by about 10...so that is what I am doing this weekend. I made 4 of these using the 4 sheets of this paper that I had. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Reverse Confetti SFYTT #32
I made a couple of Happy New Year's cards using the January Reverse Confetti sketch to add to my collection...and that would make 26 made and too many left to make so I better start thinking about Valentine's day cards for the peeps that didn't get one;)
Here is the sketch
Here is the sketch
And here is my take on them...I had to take the pics at work so they are not the best, but I gave the cards out today so it is what it is...
For this one I used the later alligator stamp set and coordinating dies and colored him with copic markers. Then I stuck him in a hole cut in some patterned paper and popped it all up with craft foam.
The next one I used the monkey business stamps and dies and colored that cute monkey with copic markers.
These cards and the others I have made so far have been given out to the staff at work. Tomorrow I am going to see how many more I would have to make for everyone to get one...and then have a marathon card making party of one this weekend.

Happy New Year!
I am still working on Happy New Year cards for the staff at work. Yesterday I made 2 different cards using the Lily Bee 6x6 paper pad I am trying to use up.
For the first 2, I used a mini envelope die from Studio Calico and stuffed in little bits of fun things. The background is embossed with an old Quickutz embossing folder. It is a total lift of this cute card by BranchOutDesigns in the Studio Calico gallery.

Next up is a set of 6 using the same Lily Bee papers, My Favorite Things blueprint dies #15, and Studio Calico stamp by Jasmine Jones...I have definitely used it enough to justify buying it. This card was inspired by this card by Keisha in the Studio Calico gallery.
And if my math is correct that leaves me with 24 remaining to make...it's not going to be easy. Yikes!

Studio Calico Sunday Sketch Part II
I used the card sketch at Studio Calico to crank out 4 more cards leaving me with 34. I am working on using up this 6x6 paper pad by Lily Bee Design...it is amazing how many cards you can make from a few pieces of little paper.
Thank for stopping by and Happy New Year!

Studio Calico Sunday Sketch 12.27
I'm playing along with Sunday Sketch over at Studio Calico. I used the scrapbook sketch as inspiration for this card. The papers are mostly ancient Making Memories, the background was embossed using a Quickutz embossing folder and the penguin is from the Merry and Bright stamp set by In a Creative Bubble for Studio Calico. The die for the flag is also Studio Calico. I used some stickles on his hat for a little sparkly. I made 4 of them so my count is now 38 remaining if you are following along;)

Papertrey Ink Make It Monday 235
I'm playing along today because the Make It Monday 235 is all about coloring...and I love to color. Two more happy new year cards done...so 42 remaining. I used up the last little bits of snowflake paper and also a piece of glitter ribbon that has been lying around. The bear stamp is from the Make it Merry stamp set by In A Creative Bubble for Studio Calico and the fox stamp is from the Warmest Wishes stamp set by Papertrey Ink. Both are colored with Copic Markers.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!

Getting Ready for 2016
I'm trying to get enough cards made to give my co-workers when I head back to work after break. It's a perfect project for stash busting too and you know how I love to use up what I have. The first set of cards was made using all snowflake paper I could find in my stash and this Merry and Bright stamp by In A Creative Bubble for Studio Calico. The paper on this particular card is from an old Basic Grey collection.
I also used up some colored card stock which is awesome because my bin is over stuffed and those snowflake sequins are now gone from my stash too. I was inspired by the 12.20 Sunday Sketch at Studio Calico. I made 6 of these...that leaves me about 44 more.

PaperTrey Ink Make It Monday #233
This week it was all about the splatters for Make It Monday on the PaperTrey Ink blog. This is one thing I have more than I could use in a lifetime so why now dust off a bottle of spray ink and make a few more Christmas cards.
I used the Warmest Wishes stamp set and dies for this card and colored the images with Copic markers. I made the splatters with Frosty Nights glimmer mist from Tattered Angels.

I do love the effect of splatters especially for winter type projects and really should use them more.
And since I had out the stamps and markers and paper I made this shaker card using the same stamp set and dies.
I love coloring stamped images...it makes me feel like a kid! Thanks for stopping by.
