summer is flying by!
I have been in a purging mode the last few days...and no, not the fun kind of scrap purging where you still get to touch all of your goodies, but little girl closet cleaning...it may be the worst!
and yet, I still had time to play with some of my scrap goodies...first from Studio Calico Singing in the Rain kit...and the the 6/29 sketch and use 10 pps weekly challenge I give you...
perfect outfit
and a little detail
funny thing about that LO...looked high and low for some purple something/anything really to put on it and it just wasn't to be found...but I think the red and yellow are a nice compliment!
and this one using my SC paper moon kit...
happy new year
and some details
and maybe just one more for a use you stash challenge from a SC kit from last summer...also for the 10 pps challenge
summer recap 2010
and I also finished last summer's mini album...but I will hold off on that for another day...it's nap time!

monday.monday
hope you all had a wonderful father's day...we celebrated with a cookout and dinner with the in-laws...and blueberry pie...yum!
here's another LO I did for the weekly color challenge at studio calico...used my august 2010 summer camp kit...I have been using the kit to make a summer mine from last summer...it is almost done and I will be so glad to call it complete...I still have some stuff from the kit and would love to use it up before reveal happens on the 27th...wish me luck!
and a little detail
and you know what is scary...almost all of this stuff was already cut out and laying around in one place or another...scary I tell ya!
hope you have a great week!

a LO and 4 scrap cards
after a puppy walk, a last minute card making session, package labeling, a work out and a frantic dash to chic-fil-a, I managed to make it to the post office to mail out a father's day present for my dad, a birthday card for a sweet friend in California, my giveaway stamp and a "I'm so lame, please still love me" card to another dear friend in California...after that I really needed a nap, but the grocery store was calling my name!
when we got home, I got down to my weekly goals:
1.use up, throw away, give away 5 things a day
2. try on (decide to keep or give away) and iron 5 things a day from my closet
3. trip to post office
4. 2 father's day cards and 1 gc for my dad
5. 5 days of 90 minutes at the gym
as you can see, I have already knocked off 3 and 4 from my list and it's only Tuesday!
the other things are daily, but I am up to date as of today!
so my LO for last week's sketch challenge and this week's weekly challenge at Studio Calico...
the background paper is from a SC kit last summer and then some super old OA...love when I can use up the old stuff!
and my lawn party scrap cards...
a little birdie told me
I printed out the birdie in a few different sizes for the LO I did last week, and I just can't let the rest of them go into the trash!
enjoy
I sent this out with my giveaway stamp...saw the flower idea in a magazine I was throwing away this week and knew I had some random banner pieces laying on my desk somewhere!
for you dad
a little stitched pocket to hold his gc...and another bird!
untitled card
sometimes I like to have cards without a sentiment so I can add one when I need a spur of the moment card!
that's all for me today...hoping to get some more crafting done this week...trying to finish up some projects that have been laying around for far too long!

pencil lines sketch 241
if you are looking for the stamp giveaway go here
not working during the summer really has scrappy advantages! worked with pencil lines sketch 241 to make this LO of mags and her cousins...and I used my studio calico kit...and that GP paper that I just can't get enough of...I don't think I have enough of it left for anything, but maybe I could squeak out a card!
and a little detail of my cute Echo Park digi bird
hope you are having a great week!

happy Monday...happy summer!
it is blazing hot here and we are spending a lot of time swimming or indoors...anything to stay cool! today I managed to finish up a LO for the 5/29 sunday sketch challenge at studio calico using my may studio calico kit...do you ever us a piece of paper over and over again when at first glance you just knew the other side was the one that you would love...that's what has happened with this GP paper...I still love the other side, but this is the side that has one my heart!
and a little detail of the title work...I stamped, embossed and cut out the "you" and then popped it up with pop dots.
if you are looking for the stamp giveaway...look at the next post!

a layout, a technique and a giveaway
I made this LO for this week's circle challenge at studio calico using my my studio calico kit...it's about the end of this school year and what is going to happen next year when mag's bff heads of to middle school...
I cut the circles with my quickutz circle dies, traced them onto the background paper and then stitched the circles with 2 strands of black dmc floss and then popped up the circles to give a little dimension to the LO...
I hid the journaling on the back of the big circle tucked behind the picture mat with the green circle sticker on it...in order to have easy access to the journaling tag, I slit a hole in the page protector...super easy but genius really...and no I did not come up with it, I just saw it somewhere sometime and now I'll pass it along...
a finally a giveaway!!
I ended up with two studio calico love phrase circle stamp from the January 2011 dear abby kit and would love to pass it along...if you would like to have it, just leave a comment here. If you are a follower or sign up to be a follower leave an additional comment and you will have 2 entries...I'll pick a winner on Friday!
