it's Sunday

mags is feeling better today...we will be going to San Francisco in July now...sigh!
at least I have been productive at the scrap table...here is another LO using the Label Tulip June kit...and I'm not close to being done with this kit yet!

waaaaaaaa!

I am supposed to be on an airplane on my way to San Francisco...but mags woke up with a headache this morning that quickly deteriorated into vomiting...so I am not going to San Francisco today...and that makes me sad...so instead I scrapped...another LO using my June Label Tulip kit...have I said how much I love this kit?

yay it's Friday!

but really...every day is Friday during the summer!

mags and I are headed out for San Franciso tomorrow...I am so excited! I haven't been back in a few years and I always enjoy seeing my old friends and eating at my favorite restaurants! And it was 107 here yesterday...yes...I said 107! I'm thinking it's not that hot there!

I managed to pull a OLW LO off today...that's pretty quick for me! I used the June kit from Label Tulip...and let me tell you...I am loving this kit! I have 2 more LOs all ready in the works using it!



I will be gone unti the beginning of July.

Happy Father's Day

We celebrated father's day with brunch at the in-laws...I think everyone might be sleeping now because it is so quiet! I managed to get a LO and a card done for a product challenge at Scrap-Diner using Jenni Bowlin and Hambly...seems like a fitting pic for father's day...although it was taken on Memorial Day!

The One Little Word challenge for this week is the word YES...I did this LO about my love of home grown tomatoes...I used the May Label Tulip kit...love their kits!

monday...monday

we are trying to get into the swing of summer time at our house...it is a lot harder to get to the gym first thing in the morning when there is nothing else you have to do all day...don't get me wrong...there are plenty of things I should/could be doing, but in the summer, there is always tomorrow!
I did get some scrapping done...

first up is the Summer Concert Series happening at the Scrap-Diner...the marvelous Celeste Smith has thrown down a sketch challenge...I used some old.old collage press papers...but I still really.really love them!



also...there is a super fun card sketch challenge at dream girls blogspot this week...I created this card using some left over scraps from some of my label tulip kits!
